Our biblical worldview education conference gathered Christian school educators, administrators, teachers, and homeschool families on July 31–August 1, 2024 at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. This page preserves the story — and the resources — from those two days.
Two days of renewal for Christian educators
REAP 2024 was built for the people who shape young hearts every school day. Presented by RenewaNation, hosted by EastLake Community Church, and sponsored by BJU Press and the Herzog Foundation, the conference drew Christian school educators, administrators, and homeschool families to the shores of Smith Mountain Lake.
Keynote researcher George Barna — Professor and Director of Research at Arizona Christian University’s Cultural Research Center and author of Raising Spiritual Champions — headlined a lineup of speakers devoted to one question: how do we help children develop a biblical worldview that lasts?
Attendees spent the two days doing four things:
- Experiencing biblical worldview–centered coaching and instruction
- Discovering strategies and practical tips for effective biblical worldview teaching
- Networking with other professional Christian educators
- Earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
